Susila earned her MS in Organic Chemistry from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, in 2016. Before beginning her PhD in the Department of Chemistry at Oklahoma State University in August 2022, she served as a Chemistry Lecturer at St. Xavier’s College in Maitighar, Kathmandu. From Spring 2023 to Spring 2025, she was involved in research in the Bolliger Lab, where she contributed to projects focused on synthesis of heterocycles. In Summer 2025, she joined the Pitre Lab, where her current research focuses on nucleophilic cobalt catalysis.
