Farzana completed her BS (2020) and MS (2022) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. Before starting her PhD in the Department of Chemistry at Oklahoma State University in August 2024, she worked at Augmedix, a healthcare technology company, from 2022 to 2023. Farzana joined the Pitre Lab in January 2025, where her research currently focuses on projects relating to halogen-bonding photocatalysis.
